Official Contest Rules — “Guess Who's Gonna Win the Match” (the Match Game)

Last updated: 30/06/26

Entry to this Contest is completely free. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or to win.

1. Sponsor

This Contest (“Contest”) is the Match Game, operated by Unimatch (“Sponsor”), accessible at match.uninav.app. Participants predict match scores for the chance to win a surprise prize, as described in Section 6.

Unimatch is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by FIFA or any FIFA-affiliated entity. Team names, competition names, and any other third-party marks referenced in connection with this Contest are used solely to identify the real-world matches being predicted, and remain the property of their respective owners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid email address to enter. The Contest is open to participants everywhere, except residents of New York and Florida (USA), who are not eligible to enter or win.

Winning a prize does not guarantee any specific outcome, item, value, or experience. Participants are solely responsible for arranging anything needed to receive or use a prize (such as providing a valid shipping address, where applicable), and for complying with all applicable local laws. Sponsor is not responsible if a winner is unable to use or access a prize for any reason outside Sponsor's control.

3. Contest period

Predictions may be submitted and confirmed up until 5 minutes before the kickoff of the Final match. The Contest concludes once the result of the Semifinal round is finalized — this is also when the Contest winner is determined, regardless of whether the prize has been fully issued by that point.

Predictions for the Final match may still be submitted for fun and leaderboard standing, but are not used to determine the Contest winner — the winner is determined once the Semifinal round is complete.

4. How to enter

  1. Create an account on match.uninav.app by providing your name and verifying your email address.
  2. For each eligible match (Round of 16 through Semifinals), enter your predicted final score for both teams before that match locks.
  3. Only confirmed predictions, made before the relevant match locks, are eligible for scoring. Draft/unconfirmed picks do not count.
  4. Limit: one entry (one account) per person. Creating multiple accounts to gain additional entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification of all associated entries.

5. How the winner is determined

The participant with the single most accurate set of predictions wins — measured by total points across the Round of 16, Quarterfinal, and Semifinal matches:

  • Exact correct score: 3 points (6 points for matches in the Semifinal round)
  • Correct winner/draw, incorrect score: 1 point (2 points for Semifinal matches)
  • Incorrect prediction: 0 points

If multiple participants are tied for the highest point total, the winner will be selected by random drawing among the tied participants, conducted by Sponsor.

5a. Official result source.For scoring purposes, the official final score of each match as published on FIFA's official website (fifa.com) is the sole authoritative source Sponsor will use to award points under this Section. If FIFA's published result is delayed, unavailable, or later corrected, Sponsor may use its reasonable judgment to determine when and how to apply that information, and Sponsor's determination is final.

6. Prize

The prize is a surprise prize, the nature and value of which are not disclosed at the time of entry and have not yet been determined by Sponsor.

Sponsor is a startup operating with limited resources. By entering this free Contest, participants acknowledge and accept that:

  • the prize may be modest in value, and is not guaranteed to be a ticket, travel-related item, or anything of significant monetary worth;
  • Sponsor will select and provide the prize in good faith and to the best of its ability, given its available resources at the time; and
  • the exact prize will only be revealed to the winner at the time of award.

Sponsor reserves the right to determine the prize's form, value, and means of delivery in its sole discretion. If Sponsor is unable to provide a prize at all for any reason, see Section 13 (Disqualifying Events) — Sponsor has no obligation to award a substitute prize or any cash equivalent.

7. Winner notification and verification

The winner will be notified via the email address on their account once determined, after the Semifinal round concludes. The winner must respond and provide any requested verification within 5 days, or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Sponsor may require the winner to provide identification or other reasonable proof of eligibility.

8. Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for any taxes associated with the prize.

9. Publicity

By accepting a prize, the winner consents to Sponsor's use of their name, general location, and a photograph of them with the prize, for promotional purposes related to the Contest, except where prohibited by law.

10. Disqualification

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, creates multiple accounts, or otherwise violates these Rules or the Terms of Use.

11. Indemnification

By entering this Contest, each participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and its officers, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) the participant's breach of these Rules; (b) the participant's violation of any law or the rights of any third party; or (c) the participant's use of the Contest platform or any prize.

12. Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Contest will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation with Sponsor via the contact details in Section 17.

If a dispute is not resolved through negotiation within 5 days, it will be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by applicable law. Arbitration will be conducted in [arbitration institution/rules — e.g., Estonian Chamber of Commerce, or another named body], in the English language, and the arbitrator's decision will be final and binding on both parties.

Class action waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought on an individual basis only. Participants waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action against Sponsor in connection with this Contest.

13. General conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify these Rules, or to cancel the Contest or underlying event entirely, at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to any of the following (each, a “Disqualifying Event”):

  • a security breach, hack, or cyberattack affecting the Contest platform or Sponsor's systems;
  • loss, corruption, or unavailability of data needed to operate, score, or verify the Contest;
  • a financial or operational circumstance preventing Sponsor from continuing the Contest or providing a prize;
  • fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control.

If a Disqualifying Event occurs, Sponsor has no obligation to declare a winner, award a prize, or award any substitute prize or compensation of any kind. Sponsor's decisions on all matters related to the Contest are final.

14. Privacy

Information collected in connection with this Contest is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law

This Contest is governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

16. Liability

Unimatch hosts the Match Game but is not liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from participation in the Contest, use of a prize, or any third-party action, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This works alongside, and does not replace, the separate Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability document.

Note:Section 3 (above) refers to predictions locking 5 minutes before the Final, while the winner is determined at the end of the Semifinal round — worth a quick check that the lock timing is meant to say “Semifinal” there too, since that's when predictions actually stop counting toward the result. Section 12's arbitration body is also still a placeholder pending a named institution.
