    Plain-English summary: We collect your email only to notify you about UniMatch. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
  

1. Who we are

UniMatch is an AI-powered university matching platform currently in early-stage beta. The platform is operated under the UniMatch project. For all privacy matters, contact us at contact@uninav.app.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve UniMatch:

Email address — when you join the waitlist or contact us through the website.
Name — optionally provided when you submit a contact form.
Message content — when you use the contact form to send us a question or feedback.
Prototype usage data — queries entered into the prototype may be logged for the purpose of improving the product. This data is not linked to your identity unless you have created an account.
Basic analytics — page views and general traffic data (no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking).

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or sensitive personal data.

3. How we use your data

To notify you when UniMatch launches or releases updates (waitlist emails).
To respond to your messages and questions.
To improve the prototype and the quality of university matching results.
To understand general usage patterns and fix bugs.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose not listed above.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes. We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the platform:

Formspree — processes contact form and waitlist submissions. Their privacy policy applies to data processed through their service.
Vercel — hosts the UniMatch website. Basic server logs may be retained by Vercel per their policy.
Railway — hosts the prototype application.

All service providers are selected for their commitment to data security and privacy.

5. Data retention

We retain your email address and contact information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected — primarily, to notify you about UniMatch. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Cookies and tracking

The UniMatch landing page does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Basic session and analytics cookies may be set by our hosting providers. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising trackers.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data at any time.
Withdraw consent for communications at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. UniMatch is a beta product and you should not submit sensitive personal information through the prototype.

9. Children

UniMatch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify waitlist subscribers by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
