By accessing or using UniMatch (available at uninav.app and prototype.uninav.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, waitlist subscribers, and prototype users.

2. What UniMatch is

UniMatch is an AI-powered university matching tool currently in early-stage beta (alpha). It is designed to help students discover universities and programs that may suit their preferences and circumstances. UniMatch is provided free of charge and is intended for informational and exploratory purposes only.

3. Beta disclaimer — important

UniMatch is in active development. As a beta product:

• University data, match results, tuition figures, deadlines, and scholarship information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or subject to change without notice.
• Features may change, break, or be removed at any time.
• The platform is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any university or educational institution.
• UniMatch does not guarantee admission to any university, program, or institution.

Always verify all information directly with the relevant institution before making any application, financial, or enrollment decision.

4. No professional advice

UniMatch does not provide legal, financial, immigration, or academic admissions advice. Nothing on this platform should be construed as a substitute for professional guidance. For visa requirements, financial aid eligibility, or admissions strategy, consult qualified professionals.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use UniMatch only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform or its underlying models.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through any form or input field.
• Use the platform to harass, deceive, or harm others.
• Attempt to circumvent any technical measures or access controls.
• Use automated tools to interact with the platform at scale without prior written permission.

6. Intellectual property

The UniMatch name, logo, design, code, and all associated content are the exclusive intellectual property of the UniMatch project and its creators. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any part of the platform is prohibited.

University names, logos, and trademarks mentioned in results belong to their respective owners and are used for informational purposes only.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UniMatch and its creators accept no liability for:

• Decisions made based on information provided by the platform.
• Inaccurate, outdated, or missing university data.
• Loss or damage resulting from use of or inability to use the platform.
• Any application outcomes, visa decisions, or enrollment results.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

8. Third-party links

UniMatch may display links to university websites and third-party resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of external sites. Visiting those links is at your own discretion.

9. Privacy

Your use of UniMatch is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

10. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

11. Governing law

As UniMatch is a pre-incorporation project operating internationally, these terms are governed by the principles of good faith and applicable international norms. Jurisdiction will be determined upon formal incorporation of the company.
